Ronald Regan supported the Brady Bill without reservation. Obama is to the right of Regan.
George H Bush renounced Wayne Lapierre due to his Inflammatory rhetoric and cancelled his NRA membership. Barack Obama’s proposals are not very far from George H Bush.
