Boehner needs to stop trying to pretend he has a mandate. The gerrymandered house simply silenced the voice of the voters and grabbed power. Boehner continues to attempt to circumvent the vote. This action on his part is anti democracy.
House minority leader Nancy Pelosi is correct. The constitution dictates to congress that all money bills must originate in the US House of Representatives. Boehner is simply refusing to do the work the US Constitution demands of the House.
Since passing the Romney Plan which was rejected first by the people of America in the election, then by the democratically elected Senate, Boehner and the gerrymandered House has refused to do anything without extreme pressure from the majority of voters.
