John Cornyn and Texan friends voted against aid for Hurricane Sandy victims. He condemned the aid as government waste. President Obama called and offered federal assistance to Texas after the disastrous explosion in a the town of West Texas. Governor Perry, of course, asked the aid be expedited.
Obama takes the high road ignoring the politics and sees only Americans in pain. That is taking the high road.
Senator John Cornyn ignored the pain of 90% of Americans who were shocked and appalled at the Senate vote to do nothing about mass murders in American. Seeking only political points, the Senator criticized Obama for vowing to American to continue to represent Americans.
Senator Cornyn says Obama took the low road, the high road would be to just give up.
