Proposed defense budget. Add up the combined military spending of China, Russia, UK, and France. Make that figure the defense budget. Thus saving 400 Billion a year.
Take the savings and roof every building in America with solar panels eliminating the need for coal. Employ the displaced coal workers manufacturing and installing the panels cutting the cost of energy in America by 162 billion a year.
Take the 162 billion and develop hydrogen fuel thus eliminating the need to burn oil thus eliminating fossil fuels.
Since we no longer fight over oil, we can cut military spending another 200 billion and still spend more on military than any other nation on earth.
Just a suggestion. Solutions do exist.
