Riding a bicycle on the sidewalk turns into a beating and several arrests. The scene in video below begins with law enforcement ordering a man to cease riding his bicycle on the sidewalk and ends in chaos with dozens involved.
Did the bicycle rider pick a fight with law enforcement? Did the officers beat a citizen for the crime of being black? I have no Idea. I was not there.
Since no guns were involved, the incident can be settled by the testimony of many witnesses, video recordings, and police officers. Charges will be settled by a jury of peers.
Whether the judge and jury gets the verdict right or wrong, absence of guns will eventually allow all involved to continue living their lives.
How different would the situation been if someone, officer, suspect, or bystander, had pulled a gun?
